2004-D Roosevelt doubled ear issue by
frank wight
Coin World magazine ran a few articles about the doubled ear
discovery. Some say it was die-clash.
Did anyone ever find a 2nd example of this coin so that
it could be listed as a variety?

First one I've had for sale in over a year, and I am the major seller of this

also have an EF-45 of this tough coin.

Holiday swap received! by
John Carney
Received a spectacular 1899 Indian Head Cent in an old NGC "fat" holder from
my swap partner Mike Benveniste. It's graded MS64 RB but they must have been
VERY strict on grading full red coppers back then. I've seen many darker
coins in full red holders. Anyway, here's a...

Thansk to SACs we eat by
f b
Must be getting old, here.
I had to drop my old man off to pick up a truck we rent each week,
figured a good time to run to the store for some food.
Wonderful.....I forgot my wallet. I did however find my stash of dollar
coins which I forgot to remove from my jeep.
I put them all in my pocket, not...

Nice proof ! by
Jerry Dennis
I would hope that, if the U.S. really does go Euro (which I don't believe it
ever will), that we'd drop the dead Presidents theme for something better.
Nice picture. Is that supposed to be a 1€ or 0.01€?

Looks like we can get them in another 15 years. Cool!

What's new at Classical Coins by
Dave Welsh
As many of you are aware, I am very active in the collectors' rights
movement, including being listowner of the Unidroit-L discussion group. I do
also have a coin business. In November I announced that there would be many
coins added to the listings in the future, and the second group of...

Artificial toning in NGC slab by
John Baumgart
I don't have a picture of it, but a couple weekends ago, I was looking at a
coin I figured was artificially toned while in an NGC slab. It was a white
silver dollar with a bluish area of toning (not quite a perfect crescent) on
the upper obverse. What made me think it was artificially toned was a...
