78 Title Strips by
[email protected]
Why do 78 title strips usually only have the artist and one song?
I was under the impression that 78 vinyl has a song on each side of the record.
When I am looking at Title Strips for jukeboxes, I see 45 title strips are larger, with an artist, Side A, and Side B.
78 Title Strips are smaller...

Wurlitzer Plastics (Type 24) by
Michaela Merz
Hello everybody:
I am restoring/repairing a 1938 Wurlitzer 24. It came with red pilasters from (what I think) a different model and I'd like to get it back to the yellow zebra look. I know that it is impossible to find original Wurlitzer pilasters for that machine. So - here's my question: Has...

Tech: Seeburg AY by
[email protected]
I have a Seeburg AY that rejects every record B-side, as soon as the tone arm is placed on the record. The box works perfectly on the A-side, rejects at the end of the tune as it should. Any ideas?

Rockola max 477 plays every record when turned on by
[email protected]
Hi, after a week I finally got the carousel working on my jukebox. Unfortunately, now I have a new issue that I haven't encountered before. When I turn on the jukebox, it just starts with the first record and keeps playing them one after another in order. Everything works/sounds great, but it...

AMI S-81 Speaker by
BudMann27
Hi John Do you or any of the other readers happen to have a copy of the schematic wiring for this speaker and perhaps a colour photo of the finish. From pictures I have seen it is either a gray tone, silver or even a hammertone, usually with a burgundy-red grill cloth.
I am trying to resurrect a...

as found-good original condition. Rotating title boards missing. Tall aftermarket title boards in it. What should a fair offer be? It looks like the parts to put it back to original will be. Over 3k

General Collecting Question by
J.B. Wood
Hello, all. Just wondering why anyone would want to collect a jukebox
that doesn't play 45 and/or 78 rpm records and has the record selecting
and playing mechanism clearly visible to the customer. I came of age in
the mid-1950s to mid-1960s era and half the fun of a jukebox was
watching the...
