User ID Kept Private ?? by
Jim Higgins
Is there some reasonably valid for keeping bidders ID unlisted? Just
curious.

Franklin Dollar's ship dates moved up. by
Vector
Just checked my order status. A few days ago the expected ship date
was something like 4/30/2006. Now it is given as 2/16/2006.
I'm feeling more hopeful of actually receiving them now ; )

This listing includes detailed close-up photos I re-shot thanks to input
from this group and I'm sure that helped.

Makes Sense by
Don
Hi All;
Reading Editorial Opinion in Feb 6, 2006 Coin World by Richard Lobel.
The jist of his editorial is that the US is into coins as an
investment not for collecting. Because of such we have bunches of
people trying to make an extra $1000 by regrading the hell of of a
particular coin. His...

Impaired Proof V Nickel? by
Cliff
I posted a couple of pictures in ABPN of a wire rimmed beat up V
nickel that I found in a group. Would be happy for any opinions on
this since I've never even seen a proof V. It does have extremely
sharp rims so it might have been in a holder but hard metal like that
doesn't normally get affected...

Westward Journey?? 2006 Jefferson Nickels by
Vector
The US Mint web site, and so eBay sellers, are calling the 2006
nickels Westward Journey Series Return to Monticello Nickels.
My question is this: What have the 2006 nickels got to do with Lewis
& Clark's expedition?

UK Site update by
Tony Clayton
My 2006 Proof Set arrived this morning, so I photographed
all the new verions and have updated my web site accordingly.
The two Brunel two pound designs are stunning, as is the VC
50 pence. The Heroic Acts 50p is rather odd, and I am not
sure it will survive circulation very well.
The Queen's...

What year did the U.S. Mint change colors on their Silver ProofSets? by
Lowell Kempton
I know they went from that maroon color to the blue color, but what was
the first year that the change occurre? I've also seen (on e-bay) that
some are housed in a black presentation box, what's up with that? I
still need to collect 1993 through 1998, that's why I ask.
Thanks for your time.

Speaking of the new Franklins by
andyandy68
Speaking of the new Franklins, I bought the French silver 1/4 Euro
coin. I don't collect French coins, but I thought this one, and the
Jules Verne base metal coin, were nice and ordered them. When I
received my silver French Franklin, I thought it was a very attractive
coin; I'm happy with it. ...
