Other ways of selling "rare" books? by telicalbook
I'm frequently finding books in which I seem to have one of the only copies that are available for sale, or the only copy. My inventory is small enough to not want to have to wait eons to sell the books I don't want, so I make the book available at a price available for more buyers. Not a huge...

Agent's bookplate and stamp by Carney Wilde
I am considering buying a 1st edition book. The book and jacket are described as being in near fine condition. The description also says "agent's copy with stamp and bookplate." Being somewhat of a novice collector, do I take this to mean the author's agent? Does this add or detract from it's...

What Does it Mean................ by mbbbh
if a book has a publishing company on the cover page (in this case Franklin Publishing Company) and a manufactures name on another page? (Kingsport Press, Inc.) Does this mean one does the editing etc., and the other does the printing?
