Madame Alexander Help! by
[email protected]
I picked up a Madame Alexander Doll almost 3 years ago from a country
peddler. I pass her every day in a chair and I thought it was time to
learn more about her. One M.A. doll collector that I work with told me
that she is a "Puddin Doll". Here are the facts;
1) She's a Black Doll (African...

ID: doll by
Tony Cianfaglione
My wife picked up a doll today at a thrift store. She is marked 1995
Irwin Toy on the back of her head and is wearing a light coloured print
gown (nightgown?) with a ribbon around the waist. The gown has squared
shoulders. She has brown, thick (as in wool) hair and looks as though it
was up in a...

Adoption Paper by
[email protected]
Could someone tell me where I could get a copy of a certificate as I'd
like to get an idea of the wording to use when making one up for
paintings of dolls for children. Thought it might be just an extra that
might catch they fancy to have. But not sure about what to put on one.
Have form from...

One has been open but still in new condition, the other 2 haven't even
been opened. Boxes are in okay condition - not new off the shelves -
but still great condition....
how much would something like these be worth? Who...

Slick way to find dolls on ebay by
Dave
If you ever browse through ebay listings, you know that people
frequently misspell their items. The trouble is, when you're searching
for something and it's misspelled, you can't find it. The cool part is,
NEITHER CAN ANYONE ELSE! Misspelled items often don't get any bids.
Well I have a way...

1950s Dolls clothes Pattern Books by
www.thegoonshow.net
I wonder if anyone can help me?
I am trying to transcribe part of a 1955 UK Radio Comedy Show (The Goon
Show).
In one scene a character refers to what sounds like "jellow pattern books",
although it could be "Jella", "Jeller" or "Jellow" or even "Yella".
I believe he is refering to dolls clothes...

I like free stuff...don't you? by
No Body
Can someone explain to me why everyone is insisting on paying for a
service that is FREE on Yahoo? If your answer is "they get more
traffic" isn't that chicken and egg syndrome?
Yahoo's service is there ....personally I find it a lot easier to
navigate so I will use it. I don't like the fact...

creepy & macabre dolls by
thinktank
I'm sure I'm not alone here, but was hoping to stir up some links to
websites with pictures of creepy & macabre doll alterations. Dolls
creep me out the way some people are scared of clowns - especially
porcelain ones. So much so that I tear them apart and put them back
together again, the way...
