Does Scott make a album for US Stamps? by
Jim Conklin
Hello:
While I collect just Great Britain stamps I'm thinking of starting up
with US stamps, from the beginning to say the 1960's or such. What album
would be good for this? I'm using a Scott one for the British Stamps.
Thanks for any advise.
Also any suggestions for other countries? I like...

darkrats
Trying to find out a few more details on the SCOTT CATALOGUE CLASSIC - 2006
(WORLD 1840-1940) published as a hardbound volume. Can someone who has the
catalog let me know it's dimensions and the type of binding (does it come
with a dust cover, and if so, what it looks like without it etc). Thanks.

Sweden question by
Tony Vella
The Sweden 'Bo Bergman' stamp of 1969 is listed in Scott (#832 and 834)
only as green on greenish while its sister issue of Soderberg (#831 and
833) is listed as brown on buff. Well, as shown in this link I have a
Bergman issue which is brown on buff which I cannot find listed anywhere
in Scott. ...

Curiosity Corner #217: Widely separated siblings. by
Rod
Wurtemburg and New Guinea.
New Guinea's unofficial "Dirigible Expedition" stamps,
are printed on the same gummed paper as used for the Wurtemburg
official stamps of 1906 with watermark of circle and crosses.
Proposed in 1913, the expeditions plans ended by the outbreak
of war in 1914.

Strange Order from Canada Post by
[email protected]
I ordered the Jan-Mar 2006 quarterly pack, *singles*. What I got was
the quarterly pack, *corner block sets*. I checked the spring 2006
Collections magazine that I ordered from, and it looks like the
Product number listed beside the singles set is actually for the sets.
I was charged $16.32 for...

with the incorrect date? (I presume of the 3oth)
My specialised is currently awaiting unpacking.

Curiosity Corner #218: Cheap fun with stamps. by
Rodney
http://cjoint.com/data/ezpdE1jZHy.htm
This here is a "6 bar MC over 96", on an issue
that would probably have cost me around $5 for
around 300 stamps, this issue is a dime a dozen
you can hardly give them away, yet the fun lies
in the postmarking and chase of post offices.
A story by Hugh...
