Belgian RR / Parcel Post Project Update #1 by
[email protected]

For those who are interested, I have completed sorting out my clean
stamps with Hexagon cancels. I'm starting to go even more blind than
I have been. :)
On a serious note, I have all 3 versions of the Belgian Study Group
reference on these stamps. I've looked over 500+ stamps and...

Sweden~ Vaxholm ship and blood-money coin by
Rod
Sweden issued two new stamps in its definitive series in
1971 Denominations were 80ore and 4k.
The 80 ore denomination shows a graceful, older type
steamer leaving Stockholm harbour. These white ships
which serve the Stockholm archipelago, when passing the
Royal Palace as the stamp depicts, form...

Middle East question. by
Geezer
How realistic are the prices in the 2005 edition of Gibbons Part 19 ?
There are some astounding increases compared with the 1996 edition.
e.g. Israel No.850b used up from 20p to £22
Israel No.1099b used up from 25p to £32
Oman 1978 surcharges Nos.212-4 up from £51 to £850

What do you think?
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f244/cooper213/17.jpg
Going through that average bunch of stamps that I referred to in my
earlier post, I came across this one.
The reddish discolorization on the face is on the stamp, but doesn't
show up quite as distinctly as it does on...

WARNING - Avoid Edmonton Stamp Show March 23-25=Avoid Thefts!! - REPOST by
Frank Arthur
It seems that enough honest stamp dealers heeded the warning,
so that attendance in ,2006, was a dismal failure!
Hopefully, the Edmonton Stamp Club lost enough money to go bankrupt,
and out of existence finally?
To avoid having YOUR material stolen there, just avoid!!

China ID?? by
George
At a recent stamp club meeting, one of the members asked me if I could
identify these two stamps for him.
http://members.aol.com/pmats11/stamps/rw_china.jpg
I thought they were perhaps Chinese revenues from the late 1940's
-1950's. But that is as far as I could venture a guess. Does any...
