Servicing/filling a Parker 51 by
Lot-o-fun
I just bought a Parker 51 with a Vacumatic filler. I managed to fill
the pen and it seems to write fine, although it didn't seem to take up
much ink.
I have two questions--
1) Should I do anything to clean the pen, and if so, what? I vaguely
remember some people using a solution of water and...

parker pen on a string -- anyone recognises?? by
Mayer
Hello:
I'm trying to identify (and eventually obtain) a parker pen that used
to be popular during the 80's. It was an ordinary ballpoint pen that
was inserted into a pear-shaped holder that had a string pass through
it. This pen was very popular among clerical staff or librarians,
because the pen,...

How do I dismantle an old Onoto pencil by
Richard Wright
How do I dismantle an old Onoto pencil?
It is the type that winds up the lead by your turning the cone at the
writing end.
A similar looking pencil that I have sends up a metal tip to expel the
lead at the end of the wind.
In the case of the Onoto I think a stub of lead is jammed into the
lead...

Unknown Pen by
Without a nice clean photo, material description, it would almost be
impossible to indentify that pen, if you are asking us for a wild guess?
Most collectors will not guess, we prefer to stay quiet when we don't know
something. Then again some people just keep on going on, they never stop,
did I...

Hi All;
I am sorry I lost the post from someone wanting to know about buying
pens in the Sacto area. I have found that the college bookstores,
especially the one in Davis to have a good selection of Parker,
Waterman, ect pens in stock. The don't carry parts.

Has anyone dealt with eBay seller crazy4stuff2? by
Lot-o-fun
I won an auction for a pen from crazy4stuff2 on eBay back on 11/21. I
emailed immediately to ask a question about shipping costs and haven't
heard anything back. It might just be because of Thanksgiving, but I
thought I'd ask to see if anyone has dealt with this person and knows
how to contact...

I have a brand new Duke fountain pen, medium-fine numb. I like the pen but
notice that it frequently will skip. For example, when I sign my name, the
first line of the first letter doesnt write, then the ink flows fine. It is
usally when I first start writing with it. I store it nip side up,...

PING! SATRAP! by
JimL
Has anyone heard from thiis woman? Las rumor I heard, in all of her
moves, she was last sighted at the White House as the Chief Protocol
Officer. She gets to write all the dinner invitations by hand, in
orange ink, of course, and tell all the shrub family which forks to
use and when.
