Another 1893-S Morgan -- Is it or isn't it? by [email protected]
This is a strange auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/1893-S-MORGAN-DOLLAR-VERY-GOOD_W0QQitemZ8396568718QQcategoryZ39465QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I may be strange, but I would send a 1893-S off to be authenticated if I weren't sure -- that is, unless I was sure that it wasn't. Anita

Sets from circulation? by Mark Cooper
Who here has completed a set of coins from circulation? I have been keeping an eye out for nickels, and you can still find some 40's era coins. During the years I was working at a small grocery store, I managed to find a lot of wheatback cents, with the earliest being a 1911P. Of course, it...

Special Mint Set Coins by Bruce Remick
How do the grading services that include the "SMS" designation on the label know whether a BU 1965-67 coin submitted in a vinyl flip came from a Special Mint Set or not? I have seen slabs with assigned grades of MS67 or higher with and without the SMS designation, so it can't be condition alone...

Anyone want a Mayrland quarter with the clad missing? by wolfb
Planchet flaw. I listed this on eBay when I found it, got no bids. If you want it, let me know. Not a spectacular error, but still it shows something wrong. I'm willing to take trade offers. I'm not into State quarter errors, and I'm easy. Wolf-==-

New Coin Grading Service: Universal Grading Service LLC by FUBAR
Just opened up Coin World and see yet another new grading company starting up called Universal Grading Service LLC. I visited their website and was not overly impressed. They are only asking $3 bucks a grade.

Goodbye to USENET by Sean J. Ruttledge
To all the USENET groups I have ever posted to, I say only this: As I was walking on the beach, I saw the LORD molding a dove from clay. He sculpted the bird until at last it had wings. Breathing life into it, he cusped his hands and let it fly to the heavens. And it flew, high into the air until...
