Waterman Carene troubles by C Green
My classy Waterman Carene with the delicious stub nib seems to have a bad habit,... it leaks. No matter how much or how little I use it, almost without fail there is ink on the section & thus on my fingers. Has anyone else had problems with this pen?? --------------= Posted using GrabIt ...

new way to lose a pen by Barutan Seijin
I hate losing pens, but i do it from time to time. This time i had an Executive Skyline stolen by a student. I put my pen case down on the table while talking to class. Someone snatched it while my head was turned. Whoever did it will probably break it tonight trying to get the cap off. I'll...

Are there fake Caran D'ache pens out there by whoisit
Hi I'm thinking of buying a Caran D'ache Ivanhoe FP and am seeing some attractive prices on the net - almost too attractive. Has anyone seen fakes of this model on the net? Also, anyone know where to get converters for them (by mail)? bp

alignment of triumph nib by [email protected]
Hello all, I picked up an early Triumph nib pen. It has a visulated section and is marked 1000. What i failed to notice was that the nib is askew. It points a bit to the left when seen from behind. There is also a bit of a gap between the section on the upper right (again, looking from behind)....

Montblanc 149 gasket replacements. by [email protected]
Back when I was young and stupid, I bought me a pigeon poop pen, the Diplomat later called the 149. Now that I am old and on a fixed budget I cannot afford to buy new pens, so I have to try to make my old ones last. The pen leaks like crazy because one time when clean it out, I unscrewed the nib...

Parker Big Red by Even Stephen
I am a fan of the Parker Big Red Ballpoint which is no longer available. Does Parker produce any ballpoint pen with a screw-on cap that replaces that model?

The best refills for rotring 600 tri pens? by Brian[_3_]
Not too long ago I was given a rotring 600 tri pen as a gift. I love the pen, but I've never liked the amount of pressure I have to push down with to use most ballpoints effectively as it puts a lot of strain on my hand. I'd like to find some refills for the two ballpoint tips that have smooth ink...

Black Hard Rubber by Barutan Seijin
What makes black hard rubber change colour? And given that they do change their colour, how does one keep these pens black? N.B. I'm not interested in products that restore the original black, just in preservation. --

Question to Lamy 2000 Owners by Juan[_2_]
I'm curious about a feature in my Lamy 2000. The piston knob/ blind cap is very loose in the first turn until the piston actually moves, leaving a gap between the knob and the body. Is it the same with your 2000s? I know that it doesn't affect the use of the pen; it won't leak nor empty itself,...

Where to order a new Phileas XF nib ? by Phas
I have been told by a local dealer extra fine nibs for Waterman Phileas are no longer available in North America. Nibs for new Parkers by Tomas Vera
