DDR 1990 Lincoln ??? by
Brian
I found in a bank roll what looks like a DDR error. The coin has some major
nicks on the reverse, none on the obverse, and if you ignore the nicks, it
appears to be EF.
Check out the bottoms of ONE CENT, and the memorial pillars (possibly
doubled), as well as the tops of MERICA in the 2nd and 3rd...

German 5-mark coins 1951-1974 by
Suzie-Q
I have 17 of these old coins. Are they worth much?
I've searched google and google groups. Can't find anything
about coins of this time period. I suspect that's a bad sign!
Thanks in advance,

Coenwulf Gold Penny by
Byron L. Reed
I was finally able to locate an image of the coin at
http://www.spink.com , but it is in an animation in the upper-left of
the page. It is the second image displayed. Look quick or do a page
capture, because it goes away fast and isn't very large to start with.
If anyone has found a larger image,...

Microscope (Magnifier) by
Michael E. Marotta
I bought a Radio Shack pocket microscope. For $10, it is nice.
However, it has no correcting lens, so the images are upside down.
This is not necessarily a problem because you can reverse the
orientation of the object. Also, the high power demands that you (or
at least I) have the object on a...

Book recommendation: "Illegal Tender" by David Tripp by
TomDeLorey
This is an unsolicited testimonial. I am currently reading David Tripp's
"Illegal Tender," about the 1933 Double Eagle. It is an utterly fascinating
book, and I have learned much that I did not know before. For example, did you
know that the guys selling 1933 $20s out the back door of the Mint were...
