Mis-bound book values by
Keith Williams
Hi!
How much value (if any) does having a mis-bound book add to its value?
I have a mis-bound Order of the Pheonix from the Harry Potter series and
didn't know how rare this was. One entire section 50+ pages repeats itself
(replacing what should have been there).
Any insight is much appreciated.

My Home in the Field of Honour? by
krik999
I picked up the book My Home in the Field of Honour by Frances Wilson Huard
yesterday.I was delighted to find a black watercolor (or ink) drawing of a
World War I French soldier and signature by the author on the page after the
copyright page. The wet ink left a mark on the copyright page making...

My take on three types of Spammers by
Orestes
1) Acccidental Spammers
They see the group name and think - Wow I have a cool book! Why
wouldn't they be interested? They have to be told we aren't interested
and please don't do it again. This would keep us from being inundated
with every cool book the may offer.
2) There are clueless spammers....

I have about 60 eBay searches saved which I execute twice per week, and
another 40 that I execute once per week. 'Search title and description'
is ticked on all searches, and most of them are performed at the 'Book'
category level. The gist of the more frequent searches is something

Question about Crowley's LOVE & SLEEP by
Evelyn C. Leeper
I have two trade paperbacks of this book, but they are in different
sizes, and I'm trying to figure out why.
Both say "A Bantam Trade paperback", have identical front and back
covers, have ISBN 0-553-37468-0 and UPC 9-970553-374681-0, and have the
ISBN/UPC/price block on the back..
The smaller...

OCLC and a new find not on my want list by
Annibale
Dear Mr. Klimon,
Thanks for the correction. I am not getting OCLC directly lately. I was
hoping that the OCLC I can get at ABAA and at Biblio was accurate,
because otherwise I would have to reinstall it through my usual source.
Now I see I will have to reinstall it on my new computer.
Meanwhile I...
