Ink Seepage - Sheaffer Triumph Nib/Section by Roger
I have a favorite pen a medium width Sheaffer lever fill with Triumph nib. There is significant seepage at the nib/section junction. I've been off the group for a great while (far too much business travel), but would like to get this fixed. Can the group recommend anyone to do this kind of repair....

Aurora nibs by Ron Wilbanks
I have a friend who is interested in purchasing an Optima from Aurora for his daughter as a graduation gift. I know that Aurora nibs tend to write on the dry side and their "medium" nib is more like narrow designs from other pen manufacturers. However, how wide and smooth are their "broad...

Parker Jotter, Vector, Reflex FPs by [email protected]
Parker Jotter, Vector, Reflex FPs... what's the difference? I know Reflex has a textured rubber grip, which seems a plus, but what about the other two? Do the three pens differ in their nib/writing?

Pelikan Go! or the newer ones? by [email protected]
I don't care about looks; I want a smooth writer. Is Pelikan Go! the one to get or are the newer Pelikans (such as future silver) better?

Got suprisingly nice pens today by [email protected]
I browsed today for pens and all I could find were Parker pens. I almost bought the Reflex but hesitated over its proprietary cartridges, and that I couldn't find a converter to buy, so I thought if I'm going to get it I'll get it online with a converter, that and the fact that I'm not really a big...

Question about Omas Ogiva by Juan
I have this Omas fountain pen I bought a year ago (for a very good price: 84 Euros -the pen was new-). I think it's a Ogiva, but I don't know whether it is the 8171-556/S or the 8281-555/S. The pen dimensions are the same than my Omas MOMA, both with and without the cap on. The clip is the flat...

ink availability by EvdL
I have seen the question before, but does anybody know whether Noodlers ink is available in the Netherlands (or by mailorder in Europe?) The obvious stores don't stock up on it, nor do they want to. Private reserve is available in The Hague as are the usuals (Pelikan, Cross, Waterman, Parker...

M800 metal piston mechanism? by Dave
On 2005-05-19 14:03:43 -0700, (Johannes Grubber) said: I just read the mechanism inside of M800 and larger Pelikan pens is not plastic (as in m200 for example) but metal (brass). Is this correct? Does that mean higher quality? Maybe psychologically - but there...

Macarthur's Parker by Earl Camembert

Rotring Tikky Erasers by Michael
Does anyone know where I can get a Rotring Tikky Eraser? I can't find any on the web. It's better than other pencil erasers because it has gripping action on the eraser on the end that keeps the eraser from jamming inside the cylinder. In the alternative, does anyone know of a similar...
