Gossaert Madonna Booklet Overprint by
Ronald Maifeld
A couple of weeks ago, Tom McFarland, Secretary of the Plate Number Coil
Collectors Club (PNC3) and an avid booklet collector, discovered a
previously unreported overprint on the current 37c double sided Gossaert
Madonna and Child convertible booklet. This overprint has only been found on
panes...

Nondenominated US stamps by
Grandpa
Dec 22, 2003 issue of Linn's has a nice page (32) showing all the
nondenominated stamps the US has created so far, picture, face value,
Scott# and dates of issue. If I counted correctly there are 123 of them
e todo. Another nifty little collection of stamps to assemble.

Slight surface scrape? by
Dave
As nice an error as it is, that "slight scrape" pretty much ruins the value
and is a bit more than "slight".

Stamps on Colored Paper & other topicals... by
Grandpa
Stamp collecting is still pretty new to me, about 4 months now, but I've
kind of taken to a sideline collecting (in my dreams perhaps) of
different 'obtainable' oddball things besides the normal US and Canadian
stamps sets that I'd like to collect over time. I suppose you could
class them as...

Scans of stamps in online auctions by
Dave
Maybe I'm just clueless, but can anyone else figure why people take
pictures of stamps, then post these pictures of cards or stock pages nearly
wiped out with flash reflection? One example is:

Of course the rest of the...

Where can I buy a magnifying glass in Toronto? by
iris2002
This seems to be a simple question. But I've been scratching my head
and couldn't figure out where in downtown can I go to get a magnifying
glass?
Please whoever knows it let me know.
I need it for reading. My teachers recently handed out a lot of small
print materials.
Many thanks

Romania query by
Rodney
Occasionally, I bump into stamp tabs such as these:
http://groups.msn.com/Stamps/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=190
I was wondering, if the habit of adjoining tabs was widespread
in the Romanian collection?
Does the tab increase the value of the adjoining stamp?
In the case of...
