how to thin/dry a line? by
marlinspike
I don't know how I do it, but whenever I make a small nib adjustment, I
always end up with a very fat, very wet line, and undoing what I did doesn't
seem to undo the change in line. So, what should one do to narrow out/dry
out the line (I seem to have misplaced my Da Book).
Thanks,
Richard

a steel-nibbed PFM? by
Ingemar Johanson
I think I have come across a steel-nibbed PFM.
It has a silver colored nib, but without the PdAg marking of
Sheaffer's palladium silver nibs. And the cap-lip
bears the inscription "Sheaffer's-R.D. 1960-MADE IN CANADA"
Someone once suggested that the "R.D." imprint indicated that this was
from...

a couple of questions from a (relative) newbie by
Robert Englund
Hi
Question 1:
Has anyone else noticed that Germans have a particularly distinctive blue
ink? It's blue, but with a certain sort of purple-ish cast to it. I've only
ever seen that particular colour on letters from people in Germany. The
point is, I quite like it. Is it (or something similar)...

Parker Rage Red VP with 2X broad STUB for SALE by
JonR529
This pen was originally listed on ebay and closed over the July 4th weekend,
and so was probably missed by some who might have desired it. The pen is in
excellent ++ condition, and is fully working (something that you don't see very
often with VP's.) The pen's details can be found by going...

Got two somewhat unusual items for e-bay
One is a George Jensen fountain pen. Presumably made by Edward Todd or
Hutcheon or Swan or someone. (Possibly not E.T as it doesn't have their
mark on it, - unless George Jensen just didn't want anyone else's logo on
