What is wrong with this half-dime> by
Doc
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3357&item=3956851151&rd=1
I'm looking at this - whizzed, ok, I'll buy that but does the edge
look funny to you? Like it has been pressed in? There is this row of
dots between the stars and the raised edge. I'm comparing this to my
Liberty...

Wisconsin error error by
Xray
Was browsing the Wisconsin listings, and found this one with a not so subtle
error in the description.
Figured it was a typo {After all, both Detroit and Denver start with a D} But
looking at his other auctions, all his coins are listed as being minted in
Detroit.
Hmmmm .. Now that would be a true...

Sac observation (USMint business strike production run coming soon?) by
Michael G. Koerner
On Friday (2005-02-11) I got 100 Sacs from my bank (Prospera Credit
Union in Menasha, WI), not nearly as heavy a usage as what Fred goes
through, but I still do use my share of them at my pizza delivery job.
Nothing unusual except that I will echo one of Fred's recent
observations. Of the 100,...

State of anti-RCC lawsuit? by
Wolley Segap
What ever became of that lawsuit wherein ACG was suing anybody in RCC
who posted messages of any kind? I'd like to go back to using my real
name instead of this sock puppet silliness but can't afford to fight a
frivolous lawsuit.

Something that just never occurred to me before by
James Higby
I was at a show recently talking to a dealer friend. I mentioned the 1793
Strawberry Leaf large cent, and how it had recently emerged from its hiding
place and been slabbed as a F-12. I noted that I thought the coin would
make VG-7 tops by ANA standards, to say nothing of EAC standards. I...

Franklin Halfs Barber coins--Help needed by
Dick
After my Mother passed away in Dec I found 3 coin sets that I believe my
Dad bought in the 80s. I know nothing about them and hope that someone in
this group would help me out.
I am interested in where they may have came from and an approx. value.
I'm in the Chicago area and will probably sell them...

EASY MONEY!!! by
Reganspop
I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAW HOW MUCH MONEY CAME FLOODING INTO MY STORMPAY
ACCOUNT.
Try to look at this program with an open mind.
At least think about it for a few days. This DID work for me.
In September 2004 I stumbled across a discussion posting that
explained an easy to use program on how to...

Harold Fears

It has been my experience, that the coins minted in 1894 (for Jersey) are
the best of the Victorian series.

Best way to start a world collection? by
Wolley Segap
Folks,
I note on FeeBay offerings of lots of foreign coins by the pound. If one
wanted to assemble a "one of each country" type set of 20th century
world coins, would buying these kinds of lots be a fruitful way to
proceed?
thanks,
