AFINSA - US Member Companies? by NotMyName
Can someone kindly list those US businesses which are part of the Afinsa group? From the Afinsa group's own website we know that HR Harmer, and Corinphila are part of Afinsa. Which US auctions are also in the Afinsa group, so that we can avoid?

Stamp Shows Canada+US - Blacklisting Edmonton? by KennyMcVaySOB
Notice that the prestigious listing of stamp shows in Canada and the USA, is now omitting the Edmonton Stamp Show. Is this because there no longer is an Edmonton Stamps show? Or, is it because of too many complaints from dealers who had their stock stolen while...

Any Reputable Buyers of Dealers Stock? by NotMyName
Can any one recommend any reputable byers of complete dealer stock? Not interested in consignment, since was swindled last time I used this method. Have $2.5 million CV - will sell all for cash, payable in part to banker. Might also consider trading part for something else I can use, of value.

Burning Stamp Collection - Proper? by Proposition 88
It most definitely was no troll. Too many of us seniors, who used to collect stamps, are in a similar situation. For many of us, sooner than sell below a fair price to some crooked dealer, by burning our collections we at least get the satisfaction of denying some thief the chance to profit from...

WARNING - Avoid Edmonton Stamp Show=Avoid Thefts!! Repost by Khris
It seems that enough honest stamp dealers heeded the warning, so that attendance since 2006, was a dismal failure! Hopefully, the Edmonton Stamp Club lost enough money to go bankrupt, and out of existence finally? On Sat, 04 Mar 2006 10:46:19 -0700, DaveJolly wrote: A...

Ebay - Pet Peeves by HakenKreuz
A couple of pet peeves about dealing with Ebay sellers: Sellers having so-called "private bidders" One never knows whether these are shills for the seller Unknown Reserved Price by the seller. One never knows what it is and one can bid a reasonable offer but not get the lot. For both of the...

Edmonton Stamp Show - FINISHED? TOO MANY THIEVES! by Riain Barton
It seems that the Edmonton Stamp Show, scheduled for April Fool's Day this year, may be the last one. They are crying the blues, with not enough pareticipants, due to the ongoing publicity about all the thieving at the last few years' shows! With victims of all the thefts filing reports with...

Burning Stamp Collection - Proper? by ElCheapo
This situation is already very common among many seniors groups. Time for someone, somehow, to figure a way for seniors to get a fair deal, rather than having them ripped off by crooked big dealers. On Sun, 07 Oct 2007 02:00:22 -0000, Anonymous , in wrote: A friend has...

REPEAT WARNING!! AVOID EDMONTON STAMP SHOIW = THEFTS!! by EchteWahrheit
It seems that J.Mc must be mentally challenged. The header clearly refers to EDMONTON, so this slime interjects some article referring to another city - Calgary!! Perhaps he is personally involved with thefts that he wants to divert attention from the repeated EDMONTON SHOW THEFTS? One must wonder...
