Curiosity Corner#212: [part2] :Size DOES matter by
Rod
G'day Bob,
I am sure Mr. Dagnall MA would be delighted, we are enjoying
his work some 38 years later :)
That raises a problem with electronic media, will the fine pages
at "Heindorfhus" (and others) be available for appreciation 38 years hence?
If one is to carry on this topical, there is 1975 to...

Curiosity Corner #213: One to look out for. by
Rodney
SGE1823
expertised on back by Herr Helmut Wiegelt's signature,
The signature may be genuine, but the stamps are forgeries.
His signature was applied in the summer of 1977
when insufficient information was available, and the stamps
were considered to be errors of colour.

Monaco Stamp Albert I, 1891- by
[email protected]
Albert I became Sovereign prince of Monaco in 1889. He first featured
on Monegasque stamps in 1891.
The stamps were showing him, and on the right corner there is a lady.
Who was this lady, a kind of Marianne? His wife?

Missing web site by
Blair (TC)
For some time, I have been a great fan of Paul den Ouden's
wonderful, encyclopaedic website about Opera on Stamps.
http://operastamps.org/
Today I tried to reach it and got a "not found" message.
Do any of the regulars know if Paul's site has relocated?
It would be a great loss to...

(This years biggest understatement)
Mr Victor Manta!!! Yay!
The stamp wasn't officially issued, so it shouldn't be listed in
catalogues,
and for this reason I wonder a bit why so much noise about the whole
issue?

Canada Postage to St. Pierre & Miquelon by
A.E. Gelat
I tried to find the postage rate for a letter from Canada to the French
islands of St. Pierre et Miquelon. The Canada Post website does not mention
these islands. All it shows is three different rates: $0.61 internal,
$0.89 to the USA and $1.49 to everywhere else. These islands are in
Canadian...
