Reka-Devnia Hoard Roman Denarii by Mame
I was just pouring over an old auction catalogue and noticed that the bulk of Domitian denarii including those from the Reka-Devnia hoard all sold well below estimate. Some of them sold for less than half the estimate. They are all attractive and graded appropriately. Does anyone know the reason...

MS60? by Bruce Remick
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how unusual it is to find a coin in a major service's slab graded MS60? Plenty of AU58's and MS61's, but seldom an MS60. Seems to be a grade that falls through the cracks. So close to Unc 58 or very low end Unc 61. But seldom an Unc 60. Bruce

This made me laugh :-) by Mark Rossi
I work at a local Sam's Club. Today I had a member give me 4 Sacagawea Golden Dollars as payment. Throughout the day I was able to get rid of one and that member didn't even want the one I gave her. When I went to count down my drawer, I placed the other 3 in my bag for the next day. The...

Hi all, I have decided to run a contest. The prize will depend on a certain event that will happen next weekend. By next weekend, I will either be very happy for the rest of my life, or I will bury my head in the sand for the rest of my life (Let's just said I spent the equivalent of a new car...

menards by Bob Peterson
I was at menards the other day. They had some cheap plastic tool boxes on clearance for $2. About 18x10X10. I bought five because they were just too much of a bargain to pass up. I went back today and got 10 more. They are too lightweight to be good tool boxes, BUT they are just about perfect...

Question about Presidential $1 Coin Act by Nick Cassaro
When the Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2004 says it would create First Lady bullion coins of .9999% gold, do they really mean that or do they mean 99.99% or even 9.999%? —Nick Cassaro, who someday is going to pay the supermarket a penny when he sees a sign that says "Bananas .99˘"

States Quarters Question?? by fre
I heard on a TV coin show that Delawares, S.C. and VA are scarce. Is it really worth saving good condition states quarters from these states? I get silver proof sets every year but if certain states are worth more I'll start saving them.
