ebay video slot machines by
KingPin
I just got back from A.C. and played the new ebay video slots. So
typical of ebay related stuff, a 25 cent bet actually cost 50 cents!!!
The only slot I ever played that was like that! I guess there was a 25
cent paypal fee. I lost $20 on the ebay machine, but no more. The slots
were pretty...

Fwankie In Coin World by
Voltronicus
Our very own little Fwankie got a letter published in CW last week!
Sort of diminishes my respect for them!
Anyhoo, Fwankie was on his usual rant against eBay, spreading
disinformation and outright mistruths (like SEGS coins can't be
auctioned on...

Do you use dollar coins? by
Voltronicus
There's been a lot of self-righteous hot air blown around in here
about the virtues of dollar coins over dollar bills.
But do those of you who blow the hardest put your money where your
mouth is and actually use dollar coins?

2008 US State Quarters by
Alan[_5_]
Say, is anybody else having trouble collecting the 2008 State
Quarters? I live in California and it has often taken ~3 months for
new quarters to reach us (from Denver, I presume). But, it's almost
August, and I've only seen 1 2008 quarter (Oklahoma). Arizona and New
Mexico should also be in...

1804 dime by
Mr. Jaggers
Greysheet XF40 for this coin is $17k. I'd mortgage everything I own to buy

Baltimore ANA show- meet-up? by
[email protected]
Hi all,
I ran a "straw poll" thread a couple of weeks ago to see if there was
any interest in having an informal r.c.c. get-together at the
Baltimore ANA show. Based on the response, it seems like there was
enough interest to try and put something together. Now that it's
close to show time, we...

Counterfeiting in the 19th Century by
[email protected]
Hi,
Does anyone know what were done to the coins that were collected by
the secret service? Has anyone heard of any coins (American or not)
only being counter stamped with an "X"? Any info/websites/book ideas
would be appreciated.
Thank you!
