Wanted: Source for uncirculated 1967 UK Pennies by
Jim Seymour
I have an option to buy a bag of 500 uncirculated 1967 UK pennies for
roughly 10 cents each delivered (in the U.S.).
I realize these coins are common as dirt - at least in the UK - but it's
still quite expensive to ship this kind of thing across the pond.
Can anyone show me a better price for...

Market for 2006 FS Buffalo? by
David Wang
Hello all. I've been away, busy with stuff unrelated to coins.
However, I've been asked about the 2006 First Strike Proof
Buffalo, so I'm going to see if I can get some answers here.
So my brother-in-law wants to know if PCGS and NGC has already
certified all the First Strikes, or have they...

Status? by
Oregon
I've been away for a while, and I'm trying to come back up to speed on
things.
I'm looking to sell most of my state quarter BU rolls, and I'm been
monitoring ebay for typical selling prices of rolls from the first 3 years.
It looks like they are bringing only a little more than face, even...

You might be referring to what is called a 'short snorter' maybe?--a

old military tradition. ...

Picked up a rarity by
Mr. Jaggers
While I was in one of my favorite coin shops yesterday the proprietor handed
me a Baggie full of scruffy old copper coins from all over the world. The
only U.S. coin was a large cent worn almost slick. It happened, though, to
have enough meat left to show a die crack through the forelock,...

I don't know why we get such material as this in a group dedicated to the

Abe was an Indian; who knew.. by
JLR
I have seen several interesting items posted to the group which i have
enjoyed.
I had to stare at this one quite a while and i still couldnt believe it.
I am amazed that a company would slab a coin so carelessly.
I have contacted the seller via an ebay note.

Summerswap 2006 item received by
Paul
Hi Everyone,
I just received my swap from Larry in Texas. Great coins!
I have to confess to all that I felt like a kid on Christmas morning
when I got home from work this evening! My wife just shook her head
when she saw my excitement over a little cardboard box that came in
the mail. ...

Half dollar in change by
Richard L. Hall
Yesterday I received a 1989 half dollar in change at a CVS store in Northern
Virginia. I can't remember the last time I got one in change from a
purchase. I did get a few at a race track a few years ago as as payoff on
small bets. But that wasn't really in change for a purchase.

A really cool coin if you're into this type of material. For some reason my
photos aren't as good as usual. The coin looks better in hand. Anyway, check
it out.
