Todays customer du jour by
Wes Chormicle
Today this lady comes into the shop, and waited patiently until I was
finished with a customer so I could help her. She thanked me for helping
her understand the coin market the week before ( she bought about 10 oz of
gold Eagles) and now wanted to buy some "rare" coins for her 3 kids.
After all...

Anybody here have a copy of Scheuch in their library? by
Ken Barr
I picked up two 1921 German porcelain pieces recently,
and all the ones I've found on eBay/Google searches
have been cataloged by "Scheuch numbers". I presume
that's C-S 14633 "Spenden-Medaillen aus Porzellen und
Ton ..." (1966) or C-S 14634 "Medaillen aus Porzellen
der Staatlichen Meissen ..."...

jimc

Has anyone found a professional way to imprint date/mint info nto the
pages? The best I have been able to do is with a "P-Touch" lable
machine, that uses a...

Daniel Carr's Astro $ prototype by
Edwin Johnston
I just posted my scan of it to apbn.
Today I received the premiere prototype Apollo Astronaut Dollar from
designer Daniel Carr, and it is a real beauty! It's a frosted proof in
brass, 27 MM. It is dated 2001 with a D mintmark. This was just minted,
and mine is listed on the flip label as being one...

Fauna oriented question by
Soylent Greenly
I am interested in knowing about which coins and notes feature images of
monkeys (both new world and old world monkeys).
What is the earliest known currency used by humans?
Is there any evidence of other creatures using coins?

I've decided that I was being immature about what I have said in the
past few days, so I will stop making further comments and I wish you all
the best.
Thanks,
