Coin Question by Bruce Remick
Which was the most recent circulating 20th century US coin series that didn't include "In God We Trust" as part of its design? If you can answer this without checking a book or coin, you're smarter than me, when it comes to this particular question.

2009 Pennies by halork
I haven't seen anything on the mint's website about the release of the 2009 pennies; I would assume an initial release around the time of Lincoln's Birthday, but the mint only mentions the Lincoln Commemorative Dollar. Anybody out there have additional information?

Possibility of Community Money for the Lehigh Valley Discussed by Arizona Coin Collector
Hello On the story below. Several places in the United States have taken similar actions to keep local economies going by creating their local currency. I am not sure how a local currency would help in the long run. The recession is still there.

Musings on state quarters, dollar coin designs by Paul Ciszek
Fishing out change for the vending machine today, I noticed that Sacajawea's face survived the translation to a coin design much better than any of the sunken-cheeked presidents. Is it the artist, the constraints of striking, or simply the fact that her face is only slightly turned towards the...

Bagged Mint Coins? by spud
Recently, I saw some 20+ year old bags of mint coins for sale. I assume they are new uncirculated coins when they were bagged? Depending on the date of the coins I think they might be a good deal? What do you think?

FA: This should show the state of today's coin market... by LRC-Tom
Tough dates have always done well. I'm trusting this will still be true, despite the economy. Now on eBay with no reserves and 99-cent minimums: Key Dates (1877 Indian, 1885 Lib 5c, 1913-S Ty.2 Buffalo, 1916-D Merc, 1796 Cap and 1823 Large Cents, etc). Plus a run of better-grade early Standing...

Does anyone here know where I can find a money artist? by [email protected]
I asked this before, but got no replies. Is there anywhere you could go, to find money artists? I'd really like to price getting a redesigned $2 bill sketch created. And maybe even $200, $500, and $1,000 bill sketches made, if not too costly. Out of curiousity if nothing else, I'd like to get a...

Why does gold go up in price? by Bob-tx
I have been wondering what makes gold go up in price, and have pretty well come to the conclusion that it is mostly emotion. I can understand why iron, copper, aluminum, etc go up and down in price since they are used in manufacturing. When there is a demand for products using these materials...
