New Countries Joining Euro by R. Upton
I've read that in 2004 some countries are eligible to join the Euro... Does anyone know if any countries will adopt the currency in January 2004? Or will that be later in the year? Also does anyone know who's joining? So far I've heard Yugoslavia can reapply in 2004. Poland is joining, and some...

Counterfeit US $20 bills by Grandpa
Sure would be interesting to see a display of counterfeit $20s etc. I'm sure the feds destroy them ASAP and even though its illegal to have one(?) it would be nifty to see some of the fakes so one might more easily identify them from the real McCoy. IMO it'd be amusing to see the massive amount...

$2 Bills (What went wrong?) by Malanutt 4 Life
One thing I don't understand is, why don't retailers order and use $2 bills? And why don't banks actively give them out as needed? There is a spot in most cash regesters ($1, $2, $5, $10, $20) larger denominations and checks and other things that end up in the fifth slot should be put under the...

MS70? by Bob Flaminio
Another eBay laffer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3049057303 What are the odds? An MS70 in a gold-label PCI holder? I can't even imagine what a PCGS 70 would sell for -- easily five figures. This one will be lucky to clear twenty bucks. -- Bob

Coin Ideas for Large Piggy Bank by Ami .
Hello, I have recently aquired a very large glass pig-shaped bank. It's about 20 inches long and 8 inches tall. I have decided that I'd like to get started by filling it with rolls of quarters, nickels, and dimes from the bank. I also asked at the bank for half dollars, but the bank teller only...

Report update on my Jefferson Nickel collection by Dale Hallmark
I posted earlier that I was putting together a set of uncirculated Jefferson Nickels. No proofs (at this time) no RPM no FS, and no over dates and no over mint marks unless they just fall into my hands :-) MS-63 or so is good enough for this particular set. Well I need 6 to finish and I am having...
