US Stamp Errors by phantomm_1
Greetings, I've a interest in all US stamps that have errors. Where can I find a group or Web site that has the same interest? Also, are there any US stamps from the 1900's to 1940's that are hard to find in pairs or blocks?

Poland 1996 Zodiac definitives - uv question by malcolm
Under both s/w and l/w uv light these flouresce ( no afterglow ). However the flourescence appears to be EITHER yellow OR white. - the 1zl on both, 10gr on white, and the remainder on yellow. However I only have 7 stamps in total, so it is hardly a scientific conclusion. However one of the stamps...

To clean or not to clean by phantomm_1
Greetings, I've a few old stamps, some used, some not. However, they are not what some would call MINT condition. I want to sell them after they get certified. Now, should I clean them with proper cleaning fluid or leave them as they are before getting them certified.

Newbie question Gilles Villeneuve commemorative stamp sheet by brafield
This sheet of commemorative Canada Post stamps has been sitting untouched in my drawer for years, which is a waste, as I am not a stamp collector; I just admired Gilles Villeneuve. I would like them to go to an appreciative collector and thus give more pleasure than they do right now. I am not...

I am not familiar with...

Mounting SA stamps by Ralphael1
When I get mint SA stamps I take them off the backing paper and stick on a larger piece similar backing. I then trim , leaving a noticable border on all sides and into a mount. I do it this way because there are no ragged backing edges, damaged perferations and most important I can easily identify...

Canada Ho Ho Ho. by rodney
Christmas greetings with Santa's Ho Ho Ho cancellation. The sender placed the top stamps upside down, presuming they are tagged, would that have flipped the cover up the wrong way? Can tagging establish which way is up? http://cjoint.com/data/bhmExvc4HW.htm Thanks.

Fleet Street FS circular cancel. by rodney
In 2005 Blair solved this strange cancellation for me "F.S." as Fleet Street http://cjoint.com/data/mClONJXlSr.htm 20 years earlier, a Gentleman asked the same question. I just came across an article in "The Australian Posthorn" that ties this cancel to an Australian connection. (see top article)
