2010-P cent and 2009-P dime in change by
Richard L. Hall[_2_]
I got my first 3 2010 cents in change yesterday at a fast food restaurant in
Northern VA. I also got my first 2009 dime last week. Both were
Philadelphia mint issues. The dime showed some wear so it had been out
there for some time. Still looking for some 2009 nickels.
On a side note, I...

I give up on trying to get $200, $500, and $1,000 FRNs issued in theU.S. by
Drago the Wolf
I went to a coin shop to cash in some silver, and I was talking to
them about reissuing $500, and $1,000 bills as well as issuing a $200
bill, and they told me that, some places in Europe are trying to ban
and phase out the 500 Euro note due to money laundering and drug
dealers and other crime...

[email protected]
Hi all,
I managed to get to the Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention on
Saturday for a couple of hours. It was overall a good show for me.
Ended up spending more than I had planned, but not more than I could
afford (assuming I eat nothing but ramen noodles for the next few
months). Pars Coins...

Question on Dollar coins by
Bob-tx
This is not a collecting question, but I am curious.
Since our folding money says, "Federal Reserve Note", are dollar
coins and for that matter all currently modern coins controlled by
the Red Reserve?

I found this item at an old boy scout camp.

Is it real? If not why both sides of coin stamped? What was it used for.
I think there were two of then. A obverse and the reverse.
Thanks for your time!

the DFW area and only about 10 miles from my home.) I got there at about
9:20am, 20 minutes after they opened the place. The main parking lot was...
