rOtring 900 pencil by [email protected]
Hello, I am new to google groups, but I decided to give it a try. I am looking for a rOtring 900 mechanical pencil. I recently found one on eBay, but it had already been sold by that time. I cannot find another one. I used to have one in high school, but somehow it disappeared. Nothing special,...

Pelikan and Mont Blanc oblique nibs by Karen Traviss
Has anyone here any experience of both Mont Blanc and Pelikan medium oblique nibs please? I've just bought a Pelikan M400 with a medium oblique nib and I like it so much I'm thinking of getting the equivalent nib unit for a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck that I don't use a lot. I think I'd use it a lot...

How to Polish Mont Blanc Resin by Michael
A long while ago, I got some kind of chemical -- maybe isopropyl alcohol -- on a part of my Mont Blanc Doue fountain pen. It appears to have whitened the resin just slightly. I'd like to clean it up. Is there a proper way to re-polish Mont Blanc resin? Thanks, Michael

Wettest pens by Gregg Gibson
I am feeling very frustrated because I have tried a number of fountain pens and none of them are nearly wet enough for my taste. I find the Waterman Phileas and Laureat for example far too dry, as are a wide selection of cheap vintage pens I've got on ebay. I've always used Sheaffer cartridge pens,...

Cheap Sheaffer fountain pens disappearing? by [email protected]
I've been using cheap ($5) Sheaffer fountains for a number of years, now, and like them just fine. Sure, the quality is variable, but at that price, if one acts up, I just discard it or trade parts with another. No problam. There's no way I'd pay more than $10 for a pen; I lose too many,...

The 1944 P51B Mustang PARKER 51 by Len Provisor
Announcing the 2004 replica model of my Parker aircraft series. This was not a Parker corporate aircraft. Similar to the 1941 RAF Spitfire fighter model I made last year that carried the name GEO S. PARKER because it was donated to the RAF by contributions from employees of Parker UK and Canada,...

Namiki Falcon by Moira Perkins
Hi acpp, I finally got my hands on a Namiki Falcon today. UK suppliers seemed extortionate; I got mine from the US at a very decent price. It's a beauty: classical black and gold, and not much bigger than a Pelly 400. I didn't even give it the traditional de-greasing flush, just stuck...

Kaweco Modified Eyedropper Fountain Pens Now Available @ Swisher Pens by Chuck Swisher
Hello, If you were at the Raleigh Show this past weekend you might have seen and even tried one of these Kaweco pens that were modified by Nathan Tardif so they can be used as Eyedroppers. If not, I've taken a couple photos that should give you a pretty good idea as to the modifications made to...

minä olen beettasoihtu by Simo Tervo

goood stationary? by marlinspike
What's a good, professional (i.e. not pink colored) stationary that takes well to fountain pens? Is there anything I can find in a local Staples/Office Depot (Strathmore paper is way too grainy for fountain pens)? Thanks, Richard

Inkless Metal Pen by Aaron W. Hsu
So, I cannot bring myself to buy one of these for myself, as it pretty much seems like a pencil, rather than a pen, but I am really curious about them nonetheless. The reviews on the website are far too small to get a real idea of how the pen works. Has anyone here actually used one? What was...
