FA: 1901-O Morgan Silver Dollar, Gem MS63/65 - Gorgeous! by
anti-spam
Closing in a couple of days, this has to be one of the better un-slabbed
Morgans on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8381722658
(And the photos are definitely some of the best you'll see there for
showing all the nitty-gritty details of the coin :-)

WTB: 2006 Canadian Mint Set - second try by
Jim Gosney
Sorry for the double post. Please reply to this one instead of the last
one.
I need a 2006 Canadian Mint Set to keep my date set current. I don't
want to buy straight from the RCM because the shipping is nearly as much
as the mint set itself. Anybody on this south side of the border have
one...

Long Beach Show today by
Wes Chormicle
Well, it's off to Long Beach in about 1 hour. From St George, UT to LB is
about a 6 hour drive. Set up is at 2pm and the dealer day goes until about
6pm (?).
Yesterday was kind of cool at the shop, as we were getting packed up to go,
this 75+ yr old gal came in with "an old silver dollar" she...

Question for E-bay sellers by
Lowell Kempton
I have never sold a coin or anything else on E-bay but I have purchased
several, so my question. Can the seller see his high bidders maximum
bid? The reason why I ask is that in several instances in recent weeks,
after i've placed a bid, someone will come along and bid my max to
nearly the penny....

When buying coins from the U.K. using E-bay by
Lowell Kempton
I'm thinking about collecting the Silver 2lb. Britannias. I'm curious,
when mailing a personal check to a seller in the U.K. on average, how
long does it take for the check to clear an over-seas bank? In other
words, how long can one expect for the transaction to complete and the
buyer (me) receive...

1979 US Proof Set by
Eric Babula
This should be an easy one for most of you, but I don't know, since I
don't normally deal with proof sets.
I have a few 1979 US Proof Sets. How do I tell if they're Type 1 or Type
2?
Is it just a filled vs clear MM, or do I need to be looking elsewhere,
too?
TIA,

Ebay prices as gospel? by
Mr. Jaggers
While visiting a coin shop this past weekend, I pulled a coin out of the
dealer's foreign coin offerings, priced at $250.00. Krause lists the coin
at $85.00. When I asked the dealer how he arrived at his price, the reply
was "I based it on what they're bringing on eBay."
I'm interested in what...
