Fugitive's Safe Deposit Box Yields $400K in Gold by
Arizona Coin Collector
Hello
Interesting story. What got my attention was the
location of the Safe Deposit Box here in Phoenix
Arizona. I would guess more will come out on
"Mark A. Seagrave".

Is GEC a legitimate rating service? by
jack
Is GEC a legitimate rating service? I was at an auuction where I saw a GEC
MS-67 1887 Morgan dollar. It looked pretty good but I don't think it was as
clean as another MS-65 I saw.

eBay.... by
RWF
I keep seeing this guy's auctions while searching on Roosevelt dimes:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170288203911
Looks like he's selling pocket change.
Even stranger is that he apparently has found buyers!

I know this is getting annoying, but, I have another question aboutthe possible reissue of the $500 bill. by
[email protected]
Okay,
I know I've asked similar to the same question a million times, so,
lets make it a million and one, shall we?
Okay, I just got done reading the monthly BEP report that they cover
on Wheres George, for January, and there are so many financial
problems, that the BEP is printing a lot more...

Influx of Talers from China! by
Nick Knight
I've been watching more and more talers being listed on eBay by Chinese
sources. Some are rarer examples, some are more common. However, there has
apparently been a hoard of Hog Mouth talers recently uncovered there. These
3 turned up this morning, looking very similar to others I noticed...

OT Question for RF by
oly
There was a fellow who had scads of Hardy Boys (in tan-colored hard
covers) out at the flea market today. My guess is that they were
vintage 1946-1955. When I got around to reading the H.B. in the late
1960s, the covers were illustrated in color.
I've never followed these things. Is there any...

Opinions on cashing out some silver by
[email protected]
Okay... I have made arrangements to sell my small cache of silver for
10x face for the pre-1965 coins and 4x for the 40% Kennedys. I have
worked out that the break-even point for the silver is $13.82, as as I
write this, the price is $13.57. What is the opinion of "all y'all"
about such a sale:...

Looks to me like a puff piece in search of column inches to fill.
