used their internet sales service on buy 5 packs of hinges. The total

Yesterday, December 12, I got an email "receipt" telling me that they
had charged my credit card $0.90.

eBay seller: danphan
Take his negative and neutral-bad feedback seriously.
I hope this helps someone avoid a serious expensive problem with this
'antler
button and stamp seller' on eBay.

Why undenominated stamps? by
Cloy
Can someone explain to me why the USPS would issue undenominated
stamps?
I reviewed www.usps.com, and they only thing I could find is a
statement that such stamps are typically issued when a rate change is
pending.
Isn't that the time when a person would WANT to know value of a stamp?
Thanks! ...

Relationship between Gibbons (and other) cat's and 'real' values. by
Jim
I know this is probably a very difficult question without any one answer, but is
there any way to tie the catalogue value of stamps to a real world equivelant?
It seems to be very much dependant on country, I usually expect to pay about
30-40% of catalogue for GB stamps, but I have obtained other...

A sad note about a friend of the group ... by
Tony Vella
I have been asked to relay this sad note about one of our group:
A recent small stroke has left our friend Mette Heindorff somewhat impaired.
Doctors have advised her to slow down considerably in most of her daily
activities which must also include "stamping". She expects to recover fully
but...

(RCSD) Off Topic ~ downloads. by
Rod
Sorry Off topic,
but frankly I have no idea where to ask.
I have come across a 2 minute film I wish to
download from "You tube"
The clip centres on a percussion video for my son,
my internet computer here is not fast enough to play
the clip, and would like to copy to a faster
model in the garage.

Australia - Postmark Question by
Brenda
Hi All,
I found a stamp in a batch of kiloware that has a postmark from Barren
Island, Australia. However, the postmark is in blue and the wavy lines are
black. There's also a corner of a circular cancel (upper left) in black.
So, what do you all think - is the postmark legit or...

The Post Office owns all stamps? by
RdR
Hi,
I am having arguments with a friend who is a retired postmaster and he
claims that technically, stamps are owned by the issuing post office who
rendered the service of delivering the mail. He was comparing it to a soft
drink bottle that is owned by the bottling company. The softdrink is...

Downloadable stamp Databases - tentative start? by
Bob Watson
In light of the recent thread on downloadable stamp databases, I thought
I might give a try to get things going - perhaps something along the
lines at http://www3.sympatico.ca/bobwatson10/stampcat/.
The first thing is to see if anyone might find such data useful and if
the format is convenient....

Modern Hinges by
AK47
I have been using stamp hinges since about 1957. I know of no product
whose quality has deteriorated so much in that time.
47 Years ago, one could buy for about 10 cents per thousand, hinges that
lay flat, and were easily peeled off when needed, you may have had to
fold them yourself, but so...

What do you call them? by
Douglas Myall
What do you call the red, white and blue bars that indicate airmail?
These are usually found on envelopes but are now also used on UK
stamps intended for airmail use. Royal Mail call these stamps
`Universal'. Some collectors call the bars `chevrons' but that is not
strictly correct (they are...
