Jack
Turkish 2 piastre.
Illustration at:
http://cjoint.com/data/fkr3byRwRY.htm
It's consistent with the Scott A7 1876 illustration, but no description

Macao Cancel On Hong Kong Stamp by
[email protected]
Howdy Do -
Riddle me this...
How can a Hong Kong stamp be used in Macao? A clear sock on the nose
cancel. The only reason that I can come up with is that it was a
"skip" in Hong Kong and cancelled in Macao.
-OR- is there a "Macao" post office on the island of Hong Kong?

DWI questions by
TC
Can anyone please identify the stamp in this
imperforate block of four for me?
From the crown and currency, I would say that
it is Danish West Indies between 1905 - 1917,
but I cannot find it listed.

The stamp on the left in:
http://cjoint.com/data/fotDxEB058.htm
appears to fit the description for Scotts O56 - 550, overprinted with
the 14 mm type "e".
The overprint on the right one doesn't seem to be listed. It is
consistent with overprint style "f" - 15 mm width, smaller print - but

I recently got a renewal notice from Linns Stamp News. In the same envelope

Nowhere in the text of the...

Scott Catalog Help please by
Ralphael1
While working some Tonga stamps I ran into a problem. I have a 1"1d
1962 round airmail stamp. My 2003 Scott catalog mentions this
denomination in the heading of the first Airmail issue, 1963, July 15
but does not give it a number nor is there any missing numbers in the
listing.
Anyone have a clue?...
