Worth anything?? by
J
Today I received (as change from a twenty) a five dollar bill, series 1934D.
It's not in great condition but there are no tears. Just wondering if it's
worth more than face value?
Thanks!

Where did he get this starting price from, £46, and he has a reserve on
it, £2 would be more like it. Billy

What is the difference between priority and first class? by
Fred Shecter
Priority mail is basically first class mail for items that weigh more than 13 ounces.
You also get "free" boxes.
Travel time is almost the same (maybe 1/2 day longer for plain first class parcels if a
truck is full and it waits for the next truck).
Anything I mail that weighs more than 13 ounces...

Japanese "Banana" money by
Serenus Zeitblom

question. Instead I would like to ask:
what happened in the formerly Japan-
occupied countries after 1945? I mean,
after declaring the japanese money
worthless, how exactly were the Philippine
peso, the Malayan dollar, etcetc re-defined?
