OT; What to do??? by Moses Horwitz
OT; What to do??? This has some money into it so it is a bit relevant. The President, the First Lady and Dick Cheney are flying on Air Force One. George looks at Laura, chuckles, and says, "You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out the window right now and make somebody very happy." Laura shrugs...

Wisconsin quarter found with 122 degree die rotation by frank wight
I visted the merchant banker at my local Bank of America. I gave her $50 and received my five rolls. Back at the house I was opening the rolls and discovered the rotated die coin in the third roll. After double-checking all the other coins, I went to bed. Next day I visited five B of A branches

Why isn't the Red Book more user friendly? by frank wight
When I open the Red Book at the local library I find that the highest grade of Kennedy halves is MS-63. When I look at the 'price' for such coins, its all the same fixed price for almost all the listed dates. MS-63 is can be an ugly looking coin that nobody takes much pride in---or could care...

Dontcha just love those price guides? [long] by James Higby
As a copper enthusiast I was intrigued by the appearance of a 1793 Liberty Cap large cent recently on eBay. The coin is encapsulated by PCGS as G-4. It is a Sheldon variety 13, and its rarity is given as R-4, meaning that up to 200 of this variety may survive. I then did some research in...
