No chance :-( by
Dale Hallmark
Here is a coin I really like. I did place a bid with absolutely no
expectation of being able to afford it or actually win it or even come
close. Seems I was correct as
I didn't even meet the reserve :-) I may have to go to the pawn shop and
dump some stuff
for nickels on the dollar. :-) I have...

Russian 1 ruble Olympic coins from 1980 by
Dennis G. Rears
I have 6 AU/BU 1 ruble coins from the Russian olympics from 1980. They are
slightly bigger than an USA half dollar. Is there much value to these coins
or should I be asking this on an Olympic Site?:

Grading question by
Ian
I recently got a 1914D buffalo nick. The date is indeed readable without
too much difficulty, but it is certainly flat and wouldn't take much
more circulation for it to be lost and gone forever.
You only have the reverse to go by......so armed with the scan and the
information above, what grade...

Older Accugrade Labels? by
eXistenZ32
Has Accugrade ever labels different from the ones they use now?
I was at the local flea market last week, and there was a gentleman
who had a bunch of morgans in G4 and a few slabs he said he bought
up in Albany at a pawn shop. He was trying to sell them to a dealer
there who was going through...

Question: Why would someone make a pendant out of a coin? by
Zorknapp
Hello!
I don't normally frequent this board, but I have come into possession of a coin
that I have a question about, and I thought that this might be a good place to
ask the question.
I have an 1885 US Dollar coin that has been turned into a pendant. We're in
the process of cleaning out my...

Did someone post this information already? If so, my apologies for the
duplicated effort. If not, then have a look. I don't think the results

? Shopathome Richard Chambers by
Mike Kirouac
New to this. I've watch the show and compared prices to the current Red
Book. And it does not seem like good deals. But he talks about the latest
catalogs and says they are a good deal.
Is he full of BS or is it a fair deal?

National Geographic - SS Republic Article by
Scottishmoney
We got our National Geographic today, they have a fascinating article on the
SS Republic, including some interesting photographs and narrative on some of
the coins brought up. I have just glanced over the article, so I am not
sure how accurate it is.

obsessive whitman hunt by
gordon ewasiuk
Hi RCC,
I'm working on a set of whitmans...and am missing a couple of quarters. I
find a pair of vending machines and start feeding them change.
2 rounds later...Bam! Out come four missing state quarters and two other
quarters that I was missing.
I visit a 7-11, buy a soda, and ask the cashier...

I've been having fun over the past week taking the first steps in

collection and going through all the literature I've been collecting
as well.
The site is still a work in progress, with only the first four...

Small Coinstar find by

After glancing at the Coinstar machine on my way out of the Jewel for well over
a year now, I finally spotted something and found seven dimes, two of them
silver, and two cents. Whoopee!
