Can a bank refuse you if you request specific denominations? by
PCameron
I went to my local branch bank in Minneapolis to deposit a check. On my way
to the bank I got the idea to buy a box of quarters. I was not going to
request a specific box; rather just take what they give me and see what I
find. Maybe I will find some uncirculated state quarters or if I am...

sgt23

its hard too tell or remember which years the countrys put silver in
their coins, and when they stopped. I pretty much have the United
States and Canada down. Plus its not very confortable carrying around
the big cataloge of world...

'Nanogardens' Sprout Up On The Surface Of A Penny by
Frank Galikanokus
Engineers at Harvard University have figured out a way to make microscopic sculptures of
roses, tulips and violets, each smaller than a strand of hair.

Does anybody know where I can get hold of a genuine silver British

Found in change by
Jud
Not the first time I have found a proof coin in circulation, just the
first one in a REAL long time. Got a 2004-S Jefferson (Peace reverse)
nickel at a local convenience store yesterday. It stuck out like a
sore thumb. Not worth much, but still fun to find. Brought back
memories of when you used to...

1933 Double eagles taken by Mint by
The Meadows Family
Does anyone besides me find it a little troubling that the mint has had in
their posession 10 1933 double eagles for almost a year without anyone
knowing about it. Even more troubling is that they are refusing to return
the coins to the family that has held them for so many years. Big...
