Waterman Preface "Piedra de Rosetta" (Rosetta Stone) by
Nuno
I have a Waterman Preface Rosetta Stone (or maybe Piedra de Rosetta,
as it states on the box) fountain pen. I've done a million searches
about it on the web but got no results.
It has "1799" written on the top of the cap. It is black with the last
phrase of the rosetta stone written, in the three...

Inks for Left Handers by
Virtual Gordon
I have purchased a Pelikan nibbed pen as a Christmas present for my left
handed brother. I had it fitted with a medium oblique nib. Does anyone in
the group have any relevant experience that might point to a particular ink
as having properties more suited to left handed application? Drying...

Diamine ink? by
Tony Stanford
Hi -
Has anyone tried Diamine ink? It's a UK-made ink, sold by The Writing
Desk.
I wonder what the ink is like for opacity, flow and resistance to water.
Regards
Tony

Another Little Johnny Joke by
PENMART01
The kids filed back into class Monday morning. They were very
excited. Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then
give a talk on productive salesmanship.
Little Mary led off: "I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30," she
said proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the...

new flex gold alloy by
Scaupaug1
Ok, I perhaps got a little carried away...
A custom gold alloy was made that flexes akin to the classic 1890s style - yet
better still it is EXTREMELY hard stuff at 14K, even harder at 12K. As an
experiment a 51 nib was cut as a series of extra needle fines - 16 in all,
approximately 2mm wide...

Ink Refillable Ballpoints by
Clawhound
I ran into a pen that is an ink refillable rollerball. The wife thought
this a great thing, and she'd love one. Does anyone remember who makes
the thing? Has anyone actually used one?

Inherited Conway Stewart 58 cracked ice & others - cs58 4 email.jpg [0/1] by
beedub
hello all,
Inherited some pens including a Conway Stewart 58 cracked ice.
I've got a mentmore, sheaffer and c-s, all of which are getting new
bulbs and have good mechanisms.I'm debating what to do with the CS, it
seems a lttle scratchy and actually the Mentmore is the nicest/finest
writing one....
